“DON’T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB”
Well, you found it. Welcome to the Brent Calderwood music page. If you found it by accident, please go back to my home page. I’m really a writer. Honest.
Amy Tan, Dave Barry, and Stephen King are in a multi-author band called “Don’t Quit Your Day Job”; my goal is to write prose as well as they do. In the meantime, since I’ve been told that I play guitar almost as well as Stephen King, I occasionally play a song or two at my readings. But only if asked. To let people know what they’re in for, I’ve posted a few of my songs here.

Music and Interview featured in the film The Butch Factor
Award-winning documentary by Christopher Hines that explores how men think and feel about masculinity and identity. According to IMDB, I star as “Himself” in the film; this makes me one of a handful of poets with an IMDB page. Also includes members of the band The Ex-Boyfriends.
